Iran has vowed a powerful response after Iranian authorities said fresh U.S. strikes hit a wedding gathering in Sirik County in southern Hormozgan province, killing two people and injuring several others.
The reported wedding strike came during a new wave of American attacks across southern Iran, with explosions reported in several locations. Iranian authorities also said a U.S.-launched projectile struck an area outside the runway at Jiroft Airport in Kerman province, though officials reported no casualties or damage to airport infrastructure.
