Tent & Tarp Camping in a Heavy Thunderstorm

​When the weather turned severe, it was definitely time to take cover! In this adventure, Oscar Outdoors and I pitched camp in torrential downpours and lightning to test out our gear and enjoy a night out in the wild elements.
​I pitched the OEX phoxx 1 Ultralight Tent paired with a tarp shelter to create a dry porch area outside the tent. Nothing beats listening to heavy rain pounding on the canvas while enjoying a hot bowl of chilling noodles under cover.
