Somalia hunger crisis: Nearly 2 million children are expected to go Hungry

The UN says nearly two million children in Somalia could face hunger this year. Hospital admissions for malnutrition have risen 32 per cent; those admissions often involve serious health complications. International aid cuts have also forced several health and nutrition centres to close.
