Twenty years ago today, David played the last show of his critically-acclaimed On an Island Tour to a 50,000-strong crowd in the Gdańsk Shipyard in Poland. The concert was released the following year as the Live in Gdańsk live album / film.
To celebrate the anniversary of the 2006 show, we're posting the full concert film - which features the first-ever recording of selected Pink Floyd classics performed live - to David's YouTube channel this coming Sunday (30 August) at 5pm BST / 12pm ET / 6pm CET.

A Cambridge friend of Syd Barrett, David joined Syd, with Roger Waters, Richard Wright, and Nick Mason, in Pink Floyd in early 1968, only for Syd to leave the group five gigs later. Pink Floyd's subsequent huge worldwide success continued after Roger Waters' departure in 1985, with the albums A Momentary Lapse Of Reason and The Division Bell both charting at No. 1 in the UK and the US, and sell-out world tours.
The 2006 solo album ‘On an Island’ was followed by Pink Floyd’s final album, 2014’s ‘The Endless River’, (No. 1 in 21 countries) and ‘Rattle That Lock’, released in 2015 (No. 1 in 13 countries).
