Political tensions are rising in Ukraine as residents in the western city of Lviv reportedly take to the streets demanding elections and a change in government. Protesters have voiced concerns over corruption, government accountability and the direction of the country amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. The demonstrations follow the July dismissal of Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, which triggered protests in several Ukrainian cities.
