Jackery SolarVault 3 Pro is a new modular solar battery system coming to the UK — but how does it actually perform once you install it and start using it every day?
In this video, I take a detailed look at the Jackery SolarVault 3 Pro, install it with my own solar setup and then come back after around six weeks of real-world use to see how it has performed.
The SolarVault 3 Pro combines a 2.52kWh battery with four independent MPPT solar inputs, with each MPPT capable of accepting up to 1,000W of solar. The system can also be expanded with additional battery modules.

IMPORTANT UK INSTALLATION INFORMATION
Jackery describes the UK system as “plug-in ready” rather than “plug-in solar.”
The UK version shown in this video requires an appropriate electrical connection installed by a qualified electrician, such as connection to the consumer unit or a fused spur. The standard UK plug shown in some early footage is not what Jackery intends to supply with the UK unit.
I've now been running the system for around six weeks and so far it has been operating without any significant intervention. Rather than giving you an opinion based on a few minutes with a product, I'll continue collecting data so we can see how it performs through summer, autumn and eventually winter.
One feature I'm particularly pleased to see is MQTT support, making it much easier to bring SolarVault data into platforms such as Home Assistant and my own website monitoring system.
I'll continue publishing the real-world performance data so you can follow the project over the longer term.
Disclosure: Jackery supplied the SolarVault 3 Pro system to me at no cost for evaluation.
If you found the video useful, please give it a thumbs up, subscribe and let me know in the comments what you'd like me to test as part of the long-term evaluation.
