Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has mocked US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s claim of moving 130 million barrels with a list of what he called Washington’s “real 130s.” Ghalibaf cited an analysis estimating that the Iran war has cost American households more than $130 billion, alleged that Jane Street lost over $130 million shorting oil and pointed to sharply higher US Treasury yields.
