Dyke March draws hundreds to downtown

Hundreds of people gathered in downtown Ottawa to participate in the annual Ottawa Dyke March and celebrate the 2SLGBTQI+ community. CTV's Natalie van Rooy reports that the march began with a rally at the Human Rights Monument before winding down Elgin Street toward a community gathering at Minto Park. The Dyke March organizing committee explicitly invited Queers for Palestine to participate this year in order to show solidarity with other marginalized people around the world. The weekend's celebrations will continue with the massive Capital Pride Parade scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
