More than 1,200 athletes from across the country are racing down the Rideau River this weekend for the Canoe Kayak Canada Sprint National Championships. CTV's Camille Wilson speaks with 18-year-old world champion and Ottawa resident Isabel Lowry, who won gold in her C1 200 race on familiar home waters at Mooney's Bay. The massive event features 500 races and includes athletes ranging from under-16 competitors to masters, as well as integrated parathletes earning points for their clubs.
