101-Year-Old Great-Grandmother Arrested For Selling Cannabis In Nigeria | Gravitas

In one of the most unusual drug busts in Nigeria's history, 101-year-old Esther Ogunmabo was arrested in Ogun State for allegedly selling cannabis, found with 90 grams of "skunk" in retail sachets. She told NDLEA operatives she turned to the trade after her provisions shop burned down, with one of her daughters in Lagos allegedly supplying her the drugs every four days. Given her age, she's been released on bail and placed under counselling — though her daughter has also been arrested.
