More than 1,000 missing in Nepal-Tibet flash floods as death toll rises

More than 1,000 people are missing and at least 165 have died after flash floods in Nepal and China’s Tibet region, with hundreds of foreigners missing.

Witnesses reported a 10-metre surge down the Tri-shuli River; CCTV captured it hitting a border checkpoint and satellite images show severe damage.
