South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has vowed arrests and prosecutions against those responsible for recent anti-migrant violence targeting African foreign nationals. Speaking in Parliament, Ramaphosa said police and security agencies are gathering evidence against alleged instigators, with several arrests already made. The remarks came after EFF leader Julius Malema questioned why key figures accused of fueling the violence had not yet been prosecuted. The South African government says attacks on migrants, injuries and deaths linked to the unrest will be fully investigated, with authorities promising accountability for those found responsible.
