Return-to-office mandates are becoming an issue in Ottawa's municipal election campaign. CTV's Josh Marano reports that mayoral candidate Jeff Leiper is promising to reverse the City of Ottawa's five-day office mandate and lobby the federal government to reverse its return-to-office policy if elected. Leiper says greater flexibility could save workers time and money while easing pressure on Ottawa's roads and transit system. Other candidates Neil Saravanamuttoo and Alex Lawson are also calling for changes, while Mark Sutcliffe's campaign says managing city employees is the responsibility of the city manager, not the mayor.
