Wife Finds Out the Man She Married Is a MONSTER

On June 11th, 2026, Bethel Police Chief Chad Essert was arrested while staying in Florida with his wife after being indicted on 70 felony charges.

But once Essert was taken into custody, deputies stayed behind with his wife — who appeared to be learning for the first time what her husband was being accused of.

Bodycam footage captures her shocked reaction as officers explain the allegations, before Essert is later transported back to Ohio and eventually released from jail on bond.

Essert has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
