A New Beginning for My Family: Bringing Water Home, Growing Food & Building Our First Table

A new beginning is slowly taking shape for my family.

Today, I traveled up the mountain to bring fresh water from the source all the way back to our home. After a long journey through the forest, I built a simple bamboo water system and finally watched the water flow into an old jar beside our house.

With water now closer to home, I began preparing a new vegetable garden. I cleared the land, made neat garden beds, planted seeds, and started growing food for our future meals.

I also built our first dining table beside the house — a simple table, but one that means so much to me. I hope that one day, my father, my daughter, and I can always sit together here, share our meals, and enjoy a peaceful life as a family.

At the end of the day, we shared a simple meal together at the new table. Every small improvement brings us one step closer to the life I hope to build for my family.
