48 hours stranded in the Arctic: Van life camping BLIZZARD Survival situation on the Loneliest Peninsula in the world.
I go to the furthest north to survive an extreme blizzard that is going to last for 48 hours, but ends up lasting 60 hours.
This is probably the worst blizzard and snow storm I have ever encountered in my van. The wind is howling, the forecast called for up to hurricane force wind gusts and I hunker down for as long as it takes high up on the mountain plains of the most lonely peninsula in the far north. Few people travel here in winter. The weather is harsh, the blizzards last forever and the snow storms are blinding.
This time my van freeze with a thick layer of ice covering the entire van, melted snow and ice freezes again and its like a shell that covers everything, and the blizzards keep returning every few hours. I get to film some of the most extreme snow storm footage I have ever seen.
My tines cabin on wheel suffers, and I do stupid things you should never do in a blizzard if you want to survive! Dont do this in a blizzard!
