Teachers have alleged that the group entered classrooms without permission, questioned students, photographed classrooms, used abusive language and threatened teachers. In Gujarat, four people, including two children from the same family, were reportedly killed after a fuel tank of a commercial vehicle exploded at a scrapyard in Kachchh district. The victims were reportedly unloading scrap when the blast occurred. Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the explosion.
Meanwhile, Assam has reported a major livestock biotechnology milestone with the birth of an IVF female calf of the indigenous Lakshmi breed. The calf was reportedly born at the Assam Veterinary and Fishery Institute.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma welcomed the development, saying the achievement could help conserve indigenous breeds, improve disease control and increase milk productivity.
