Today was a major turning point in the impeachment trial as the prosecution presented its first hostile witness, OVP Special Disbursing Officer Gina Acosta.
In this episode, I break down her testimony and examine what we actually learned from the direct examination. What did Acosta reveal about the handling and release of confidential funds? What did her testimony establish—and what questions remain unanswered?
We also take a close look at Atty. Enrique Ligutan's performance. After his return to the trial, was he effective in dealing with a hostile witness? Did his decision to speak Bisaya help his cross-examination and communication with the witness—or did it create even more questions?
