But a clearer version of the original footage has now emerged, revealing details that were difficult to see and hear in the widely circulated copy.
One of the most important clues appears to be the **Ram Air Turbine (RAT)**. In the enhanced footage, there appears to be visual evidence consistent with the RAT deploying beneath the aircraft. Even more striking is the distinctive high-pitched sound associated with a deployed RAT, which can be compared with footage of another Boeing 787 operating with its RAT deployed.
There is also the account of the sole confirmed survivor, who reportedly described hearing a loud bang and seeing the cabin lights flicker shortly before the crash. Combined with the visual and audio evidence, these clues raise serious questions about whether the aircraft experienced a sudden loss of electrical, hydraulic, or engine power immediately after takeoff.
