In this video, I’ll unbox and set up the reTerminal E1003, connect it to Wi-Fi, register the device, and explore its design, hardware, features, and dashboard customization.
The reTerminal E1003 comes with a large 10.3-inch ePaper display, 1404 × 1872 resolution, 16-level grayscale, touch functionality, physical buttons, ESP32-S3, and a 3000mAh battery. Its low-power ePaper technology makes it suitable for displaying information for long periods.
I’ll also show you how to create and customize a dashboard using SenseCraft HMI. You can add useful widgets and information such as weather, clock, calendar, charts, images, and other custom content.
One of the most interesting features is the ability to update and deploy your customized dashboard wirelessly.
Once you apply a new design, the display can automatically update, making it easy to create different layouts for different use cases.
