HORMUZ SHOWDOWN: President Donald Trump is threatening to declare the Strait of Hormuz American territory as the battle for control of the world’s most important shipping lane becomes a direct confrontation between Washington and Tehran. Iran says the strait will open or close only by its order, while the United States is preparing to tighten the naval blockade and increase economic pressure on the regime.
IRAN BREAKING POINT: Iran’s economy is approaching hyperinflation as sanctions, the naval blockade, delayed wages, collapsing trade, and fuel shortages push the regime deeper into crisis. U.S. officials are preparing new economic measures aimed at isolating Iran and targeting the financial assets of the Revolutionary Guards.
LEBANON: Israel has returned to heavy strikes against Hezbollah terrorists trapped inside the underground network around the Ali Taher ridge. After a Hezbollah explosive drone wounded three IDF soldiers, Israeli fighter jets struck Hezbollah infrastructure around Ali Taher, Nabatieh, Ansar, and other areas in southern Lebanon.
HEZBOLLAH TUNNELS: The Ali Taher ridge is part of Hezbollah’s strategic tunnel network, built with Iranian support and designed to serve as a protected command and fighting system in a war against Israel. The IDF is working to isolate the underground force, cut its supply routes, and pressure terrorists trapped inside.
IRAN / HEZBOLLAH: Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf admitted that Iran remains in direct contact with Hezbollah terrorists on the front lines in Lebanon. Washington is placing responsibility for Israel’s continued presence in southern Lebanon on Hezbollah, saying the organization is the main obstacle to Lebanon’s reconstruction and economic growth.
GULF PRESSURE: Gulf states are growing frustrated as they absorb the cost of Iranian threats, damaged shipping, disrupted energy exports, and higher security risks. Iran and Oman have reached an understanding over future shipping lanes through Hormuz, but Tehran still insists the strait will not fully reopen until American pressure is lifted.
GAZA / RED SEA: In Gaza, Israel has resumed targeted eliminations against Hamas terrorists and operatives rebuilding the organization’s military capability. In Yemen, the Houthis continue using Iranian-backed ballistic missiles, drones, and maritime weapons to threaten the Red Sea and paralyze regional trade.
