Under British rule, Indians who challenged the Empire were branded traitors and threats to the State. After Independence, the rulers changed, but the way of handling dissent remained largely the same. From the Emergency under Indira Gandhi to the present day under Modi - questioning those in power has often been portrayed as questioning the nation itself....inviting massive punishment - even anti terror laws. But can questions and facts be always answered with slander and name-tags?

It is time to end this idiocy of branding patriots as anti-nationals? Asking questions and demanding accountability was never anti-national - never is...then how has this circus gone on for over a century?? Will the real bootlicking, servile traitors - please stand up and answer??
