We’re back on our Alaska property, making more progress toward our future off-grid cabin. Organizing and stacking logs that we will eventually turn into firewood and lumber with our portable sawmill, and camping/cooking some amazing food. There’s still a lot of work ahead of us, but we’re excited to finally be turning this dream into reality.
Throughout this multi-year cabin build series, we’ll be documenting every step, from untouched forest to a finished off-grid cabin. We’re building it paycheck by paycheck to avoid going into debt, and we’ll be sharing the costs along the way so you can see what it actually takes to build an off-grid cabin in Alaska.
