Chinese Army Behind US Warship Blackout Near Beijing? American Navy Makes Shock Admission
The United States Navy made a shocking revelation on the blackout on board a key warship stationed in the South China Sea. The USS Benfold, a U.S. Navy Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, suffered a major engineering casualty while conducting routine operations in the South China Sea, the US 7th Fleet spokesperson Commander Matthew Comer said in a statement. The destroyer reportedly lost power for four days after an engineering failure involving its generators, leaving sailors without normal galley services, toilets, air conditioning and affecting potable water. The U.S. Navy’s 7th Fleet confirmed the incident, saying there were no injuries and that the crew responded professionally. The George Washington Carrier Strike Group also supported the stricken destroyer, with USS Robert Smalls helping provide meals.
