We Had to Fence Off Part of Our Irish Homestead
This week on our Irish homestead, one job became rather more urgent than expected! We began putting up a new fence to stop the chickens wandering where they shouldn’t and to prepare the land for when Tilly and Toby return in a few months’ time.
Then, in the middle of everything else, our old car finally died and couldn’t be repaired—leaving us unexpectedly searching for a replacement. We didn’t want to take on finance, so we found a second-hand truck that should hopefully be much better suited to life here on the homestead.
It may not be one of our biggest renovation weeks, but these smaller, practical jobs are all part of gradually making the place work properly for us and the animals.
Thank you, as always, for following our journey and supporting our little Irish homestead.
