In this episode, we’re continuing the renovation of our old stone house using traditional methods and natural materials — just as it would have been done generations ago. No rushing, no shortcuts… just slow, honest, hard work.

As it’s just the two of us doing most of the renovation, everything takes time. And with the children off school, we’ve got an extra pair of hands (or several!) and it’s truly all hands on deck.

We’re learning to balance family life, the homestead, the renovation, and everything in between — while trying to breathe new life into this beautiful old stone house and preserve what makes it special.

It’s hard work, it’s messy, and progress can feel painfully slow at times… but we’re loving the journey and learning so much along the way.
