A specialized dental clinic operating inside the Ottawa Mission is providing free emergency, preventative and restorative care to people experiencing homelessness. CTV's Peter Szperling profiles the Dymon Health Centre initiative, speaking with patient Roger Pilon who received relief for severe tooth pain. Volunteer dentist Dr. Rania El-Hawary is one of roughly 50 professionals who donate their time, noting the clinic serves as a vital gateway to better overall health. Administrator Kubra Tekin says the donated services treated nearly 400 patients last year, helping clients rebuild their self-confidence alongside their physical well-being.
