The US has so far been unsuccessful in achieving the desired results from the war on Iran despite its military might, and it is now a case of who blinks first, according to Paul Musgrave, associate professor of government at Georgetown University in Qatar.
“The amount of time that you can sustain economic or political damage, depending on Washington or Tehran, the amount of time that you can endure that pain is a testament to how much you are willing to go to get a better deal,” he said.
