A brutal and intense gun battle erupted along the Rafin Makuku axis in Kebbi State's Sakaba Local Government Area after security forces intercepted a heavily armed convoy of suspected bandits moving between Zamfara and Kebbi states. The fierce confrontation resulted in a heavy loss of life, with 10 police officers and two civilians killed, alongside two other officers sustaining injuries.
