🕵 Danielle Lea & Alayna Lea — St. Martin Parish, Louisiana
In the spring of 2026, 39-year-old Danielle Lea and her 10-year-old daughter Alayna mysteriously disappeared after being last seen in the Butte La Rose area near the Atchafalaya Basin. Months passed before they were officially reported missing, leaving investigators with few leads and a rapidly growing mystery.
As detectives dug deeper, they discovered Danielle had been involved with a man using multiple aliases whose real identity was James Michael Nona, an alleged career fugitive wanted on felony warrants. After Nona’s arrest in Texas on unrelated charges, multiple agencies launched an extensive search across Louisiana, but Danielle and Alayna have still not been found.
🕵 Roxanne Sharp — Covington, Louisiana
On February 12, 1982, riders participating in the annual Dixie Trail Ride discovered the body of 16-year-old Roxanne Sharp in a wooded area outside the St. Tammany Parish Fairgrounds.
Investigators spent decades pursuing leads that ultimately went nowhere before Louisiana State Police reopened the investigation using modern DNA testing. Combined with new witness testimony generated after the release of the “Who Killed Roxanne?” podcast, investigators identified four suspects.
In 2026, four men were indicted on charges of Second Degree Murder and Aggravated Rape. The defendants have been charged but remain presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court. The case is still awaiting trial.
