US wildfires: Tens of thousands evacuated in Washington state

Firefighters in Washington state have slowed major wildfires, allowing tens of thousands to return, after blazes forced about 65,000 people to evacuate in Spokane and destroyed more than 900 homes.

Across western North America, fires stretch from British Columbia through Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah and California.
