Stairmed Says its Brain Chip Could Take Ten Minutes | WION

Shanghai-based brain-computer interface (BCI) startup StairMed Technology has announced a minimally invasive approach to neural implants, claiming its system can be deployed in just ten minutes. Bypassing traditional open-skull surgeries and heavy robotic assistance required by competitors like Neuralink, StairMed's technique threads a device through a neck vein and maneuvers it via the vascular system to position itself just outside the blood vessel wall near the brain.
