Shortly after building the Silverstone FLP02, we discussed how awesome it would be for something smaller and Micro ATX... Then just like that, Thermaltake dropped the Retro 260, but does it scratch the itch?

The Retro Series from thermaltake focuses more on the old-school aesthetic rather than classic PC gaming functionality... this means that the case can house all of the modern hardware you require, but without some of the features some gamers might want a case like this for.

The front floppy disk drive along with CD-RW are purely there for cosmetics and serve zero functionality. Instead, the front panel can house two 120mm fans comfortably along with an LCD screen if that's your vibe!

Building a Modern PC with a retro edge might be quite niche, but for those seeking 1990's vibes but without compromising on modern features, such as excellent cooling support, large graphics cards and not forgetting tempered glass and MATX sizing, the Thermaltake Retro 260 is an excellent option for around $80!

What's your thoughts on the Retro 260? Would you sacrifice the drive bays for cooling? Let's chat in the comments!
