Gold and silver have broken out, and several major price levels are now back in play.
In this week’s Soar Financially Market Briefing, I break down the technical setup in gold and silver, why the recent move looks increasingly constructive, and what I’m watching for confirmation in the days ahead.
But this move is about more than charts.
The intervention in the Japanese yen, pressure on the U.S. dollar and the potential unwinding of the yen carry trade could have major consequences for U.S. Treasuries, liquidity and precious metals. At the same time, the latest U.S. jobs data came in significantly weaker than expected, changing the outlook for the Federal Reserve and interest rates.
We also look at oil and the latest U.S.–Iran developments, copper’s powerful move, and several mining stocks that are starting to respond to higher metals prices.
