U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday rejected suggestions that the United States faces a munitions shortage, saying the country remains in "very good shape" despite extensive military assistance provided to Ukraine. Speaking at the White House, Trump said the Biden administration had supplied Ukraine with vast quantities of ammunition and weapons, but argued that U.S. stockpiles remain substantial and are being replenished. He said American defence companies are expanding production of systems including Patriot missiles and Tomahawk cruise missiles, while maintaining that the United States has "massive amounts of ammunition" and virtually unlimited supplies of certain types of munitions.
