Iran's parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf accused the US of "theater diplomacy", saying Washington was switching between military threats and calls for negotiations. The developments come as Iran and Oman work on a temporary agreement to allow commercial vessels to pass through the Strait of Hormuz while a US naval blockade on Iranian southern ports continues.
