Tarun Tejpal Convicted: Bombay HC Awards 10-Year Jail Term, Overturns 2021 Acquittal

The Bombay High Court’s Goa Bench has convicted former Tehelka editor Tarun Tejpal in the 2013 rape case, overturning his 2021 acquittal and sentencing him to 10 years’ rigorous imprisonment. Tejpal has said he will challenge the conviction before the Supreme Court.
