The xTool O1 Omni combines UV printing and direct-to-textile printing inside one enclosed desktop machine, with different configurations designed for UV printing, textured printing, fluorescent inks and direct printing onto T-shirts and other fabrics.
In this xTool O1 Omni video, I examine the xTool O1 DT+UV model and explain the differences between the standard UV, Dual UV and UV+DT editions. I also break down the machine’s UV direct printing, UV DTF, DTG, DTF and rotary printing workflows, including the limitations you need to understand before choosing which version to buy.
This is an early hands-on look using a pre-release prototype rather than a final print-quality review. During setup, I damaged the Epson F1080 printhead before completing the machine’s first proper print, so the video also explains exactly what happened, why UV printer nozzles must never be touched and what new xTool O1 owners should avoid during installation.
The video covers the xTool O1 Omni setup process, ink installation, manual ink priming, automatic cleaning system, replaceable filters, waste containers, ventilation options, xTool Studio software, Wi-Fi connectivity and the machine’s 330 × 420mm maximum flatbed printing area.
I also test the xTool O1 scanning and alignment system, removable magnetic print beds, tacky work surfaces, texture printing, white ink layers, varnish, rigid and flexible UV inks, fluorescent ink options and automatic ink-volume and printing-cost calculations.
For cylindrical objects, I explore the xTool O1 rotary attachment, automatic object scanning, handle detection and printable-area mapping. For apparel printing, I look at direct-to-garment printing on light and dark fabrics, pretreatment liquids, white ink underbases, heat pressing, T-shirt texture and the optional WonderPress workflow.
The video also covers the xTool RF1 roll feeder for UV DTF stickers and transfers, plus the wider xTool ecosystem that allows artwork to be printed using the O1 Omni and then cut using a compatible xTool laser.
Whether you are considering the xTool O1 Omni for custom T-shirts, personalised gifts, phone cases, tumblers, canvas prints, fridge magnets, coasters, signage, small-business production or textured UV printing, this video explains how the different models, inks, accessories and workflows operate in practice.
