Protesting students in Ranchi have placed conditions for dialogue with the state government, demanding direct discussions with the Chief Minister rather than a ministerial committee. The students have also insisted that at least two media representatives be present during any official deliberations. While the state government has formed a four-minister delegation to negotiate, protesting aspirants insist on direct engagement with top leadership. Meanwhile, an indefinite hunger strike launched over examination recruitment issues has entered its fifth day, with protesters clarifying that only water was consumed while the fast against food continues until all demands are met.
