Toronto apartment fire: 1 dead, questions raised about circumstances surrounding blaze

One person is dead following a two-alarm fire at a high-rise building in Toronto early Tuesday morning.

It’s believed that person is a resident or occupant of the unit that was on fire.

The fire occurred on the 16th floor and crews were able to extinguish it. Officials said crews arrived to find the unit “fully involved.”

As Victoria Femia reports, the location where the body was discovered has raised questions about the circumstances surrounding the fire.
