Episode 130: Before we can lift the biggest oak beams of our farmhouse restoration, we need a solid plan. In this episode, Amaury works through every step of preparing for one of the most challenging stages of our 200-year-old French farmhouse restoration. Moving these enormous oak beams won't be easy, and careful planning is everything.
We also travel to the south of France to join our family as they take part in the annual cleaning of a remarkable irrigation canal that has been carrying water for more than 500 years. Maintained by dedicated volunteers, this incredible piece of engineering is a reminder of how communities have worked together to preserve their heritage for generations.
