Hundreds of migrants remain stranded in and around Spain's Ceuta after an unprecedented surge of around 50,000 people crossed from Morocco in a single week. Spanish authorities say more than 48,000 returned within 48 hours. EU interior ministers will hold an emergency video conference on August 4 to coordinate the bloc's response to the crisis.
