Locals and tourists pack holiday events

Tourists and residents are filling the capital for the civic long weekend to take part in events like the 613Flea market at Lansdowne Park and Doors Open at Rideau Hall. CTV's Camille Wilson speaks with vintage shopper Laura Blondin, who travelled to the market to hunt for unique items and antiques. Co-organizer Peter Sutherland says the combination of vintage clothing vendors, antique dealers, and craft artisans has been drawing crowds since 2015. Across town, visitor Evelyn Douglas brought her family on a tour of Rideau Hall to explore the state rooms, private gardens and greenhouses of the governor general's residence.
