Two firefighting helicopters crash while Greece fights coastal wildfires

Two firefighting helicopters collide mid-air and crash during Greece’s desperate battle to contain fast-moving wildfires near Porto Germeno.
 Winds reportedly reach up to 100 km/h, fanning flames and turning the coastal area into what locals describe as “Dante’s Inferno” within minutes.

More than a hundred homes are damaged or destroyed as residents and crews fight side by side.
