Breaking News: MP Pappu Yadav Attacked Over Chanda Chori Skit At Parliament; Attacker Detained

High drama unfolded at the residence of independent Member of Parliament from Purnia, Pappu Yadav, during a press briefing. A man, identified by police as Sumit, confronted Yadav over a Parliament entry gate skit involving Awadhesh Prasad and questions regarding the disrespect of Bhagwa. A scuffle broke out after the man confronted the MP, leading to Pappu Yadav's aides thrashing and heckling the individual. Pappu Yadav claimed the attacker wielded a knife and alleged it was an attempt to murder him due to his stance on the Chanda Chowk issue in Uttar Pradesh. The attacker was subsequently caught by police personnel and taken to a nearby police station. Concerns were raised regarding security protocols at the MP's residence as the man managed to enter with a concealed knife despite media personnel undergoing checks. Pappu Yadav announced plans to file a formal complaint as police investigation into the breach continues.
