PUTIN’S DRONE OFFENSIVE: 2 Towns Captured In Sumy And Kharkiv, Strikes On Ukraine’s Def Industry

Russia launched a large-scale overnight drone attack on Ukraine involving 133 strike UAVs, Ukraine’s Air Force said. Kyiv reported that air defences intercepted or suppressed 109 drones, including Shahed-type UAVs, Gerbera and Italmas drones, Banderol loitering munitions and other systems. Ukrainian officials said 24 drones hit 19 locations, with debris falling in additional areas. The Russian Defence Ministry meanwhile claimed its forces captured settlements in the Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions and carried out strikes against Ukrainian defence facilities, logistics centres and port infrastructure. The battlefield claims have not been independently verified.
