A fast-moving wildfire is tearing through dense forest near the coastal resort of Porto Germeno, northwest of Athens, as strong winds pushed the blaze across hillsides and towards nearby communities. The fire broke out near the coastal village of Agios Vasileios in Viotia before spreading east into Attica and through the forest around Porto Germeno.
