For this episode everything ties back to water. Managing it, redirecting it, reclaiming it, and living through the lack of it. Philippe continues filling the moat with large stones while also making manual connections every meter to the french drain running alongside it, making sure water can reach it quickly when needed. Broken pipes get fixed, a natural spring appears at the base of the last stones, and a serious storm hits mid episode. Over at the old watercress bed, now dried out for the first time in years, the cleanup reveals far more rubbish than expected.
