Thousands rally over election violence in Pakistan-administered Kashmir

Thousands of people have gathered in Pakistan's capital, Islamabad, in support of protesters in Pakistan-administered Kashmir amid ongoing deadly unrest linked to regional elections.

The demonstrations come ahead of the next phase of voting, scheduled for August 2, as tensions remain high following violence that has raised concerns over the electoral process in the disputed region.
