A reported Russian missile briefly entered Polish airspace during Moscow's latest large-scale overnight strike on Ukraine, prompting Poland to scramble F-16 fighter jets and raise its air-defence alert. Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski confirmed the incursion, while French President Emmanuel Macron, European Council President António Costa and Moldovan President Maia Sandu condemned the incident and warned that Russia's aggression poses a broader threat to European security. The missile, identified as a Kh-101 strategic cruise missile, has intensified concerns over NATO's eastern flank as European leaders renew calls for stronger air-defence support for Ukraine.
